PROFESSIONAL WORK HISTORY:

Darrin completed his studies at Q-Academy Brisbane, where he earned a Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2024. During his training, Darrin started his new career path into wellness at City Cave as a Relaxation massage therapist. Alongside his role at City Cave, Darrin was also operating as a part-time sole trader, providing personalised massage therapy services to his clients.
In 2025, Darrin joined a wellness centre in Yeronga as a Remedial massage therapist, where he remains well-versed in the latest techniques and advancements within the field of remedial therapy.

SPECIALTY/INTEREST AREAS:

As a massage therapist, I have a keen sense for identifying areas of tension and understanding their causes. I provide my clients with confidence in their treatment plan and deliver high-quality care. I also offer guidance on preventative actions and follow-up treatments for long-term well-being.

Currently, I am pursuing courses in Dry Needling and Kinesiology to further enhance my skills. At BodyViva, being around other practitioners drives me to provide the best possible treatment to our clients.

WHAT DOES DARRIN ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?

“In my spare time, I enjoy staying active and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. I have a passion for nature with regular walks and camping on school holidays with family. I believe movement is vital so gym and resistance band training is something I have recently taken up besides yoga. I also love exploring new wellness techniques and staying informed about the latest advancements in the field.”
