WHAT MAKES MARCO A GREAT PHYSIOTHERAPIST?
Marco believes that a good Physio is empathetic; they listen to the patient. Each patient will present differently, and their problems may extend past physical/muscular pain. Through great listening the physio will understand the patient’s background and ultimately deliver the best standard of care.
Marco also strongly advocates for the patient to take control of their own recovery and prognosis. Physio sessions may only be 30 minutes or even 1 hour in the week, but it is what the patient does with the other 167 hours of the week. A good physio will supply the patient with all the tools and management needed for the best recovery outcome that the patient can do on their own to facilitate the process. Take control and be relentless with recovery.
WHAT DOES MARCO ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?
Playing a variety of sports (previously in Canada) including ice hockey, ultimate frisbee, dodgeball and martial arts. Enjoys grabbing a bubble tea with friends on the weekend.
