SPECIALTY / INTEREST AREAS
My interest lies in working with athletes and active individuals and getting them back to doing what they love with a combination of manual therapy and exercise therapy. I enjoy the rehabilitation and return to activity/sport aspect of physiotherapy the most.
I’ve had extensive experience in treating knees, ankles, groin and shoulders. I believe that people usually become stronger after an injury with the right rehabilitation plan and effort.
I am certified in manual therapy, dry needling, kinesiotaping and BFR training.
WHAT MAKES PUJITHA A GREAT PHYSIOTHERAPIST?
I believe a good physiotherapist treats the individual as a human being first, and their condition second. A good plan is the one that is formed from having empathy and evidence.
WHAT DOES PUJITHA ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I love lifting heavy in the gym, I’ve picked up hiking and trail runs after moving to Australia. I have a special interest in Olympic lifts. I love exploring new cafés in the city, catching up with friends and family.
